Nee, dat shot is totaal nieuw. In de film zien we [spoiler:bc08416c4d]Denham verkondigen "i present you...king kong, the eightest wonder of the world". en vervolgens een shot van het theater waar de aap ten toon wordt gesteld.[/spoiler:bc08416c4d]

Al vraag ik me heel ernstig af hoe ze die aap zover hebben gekregen die boot te gaan aanduwen. [spoiler:bc08416c4d]Hij was totaal verdooft en zonder verdoving niet in toom te houden[/spoiler:bc08416c4d].

't zijn in elk geval mooie beelden.

ehm, je begrijpt toch zelf ook wel dat het een grap is he??

Jackson: No, that's all been saved for, ... it depends on Universal making a decision, but they seem to be pretty, keen on the idea of doing a 3 or 4 disc release, towards the end of the year which would include deleted scenes and bloopers and a whole new raft of docos that would go a lot deeper into the technical stuff of the making of the film that we couldn't show in the production diaries.

Ik ben ook wel een voorstander van een andere versie. De extra's op de nu komende DVD zijn leuk, maar eigenlijk alleen voor de mensen die de production dairies-dvd ook hebben.

maar eigenlijk alleen voor de mensen die de production dairies-dvd ook hebben.

Maar als je de site een beetje in de gaten hebt gehouden gedurende het maken van de film, wat ik heb gedaan, en je dus menig PD al hebt gezien is de lol er dus grotendeels vanaf wat betreft de extra's van deze 2disc. Ga denk ik voor een single disc release en koop dan later wel de EE

IGN interview van een weekje geleden:

IGN: Do you have plans to cut them back in for a longer director's cut?

Jackson: I hope so, yeah. That's pretty much Universal's decision, but I'm hoping at some point we'll get a chance to actually have a longer version of Kong because there's certainly a lot of very good stuff; there's a lot of dinosaur action, there's more dinosaur sequences, and as you saw, there's the journey across the swamp. There's a couple of sequences between Ann and Kong that we trimmed out. There's actually some nice scenes that, well, that's one of the beauties with DVD is that often you do get a chance with extended cuts to finally complete those scenes and finish them. But that's a decision that's very much in Universal's hands and they haven't made that decision yet.

IGN: I had a chance to preview the extras on the DVD, and I noticed there wasn't a commentary track on this. Did you make that decision to hold off, or was that something you planned for that possible future version?

Jackson: It was basically a decision that was based on the way that we did the Lord of the Rings films, which was that we never did commentary tracks on the initial release of the film and we saved our commentary tracks for an extended cut. On the Lord of the Rings films, the commentary track - well, you can really do a commentary track only once, and we just got into a pattern on the Lord of the Rings films of saving the commentary track until we had the extended cut and then doing the commentary track to that particular cut. So we've done the same thing here, even though Universal hasn't made up their minds whether they want to do an extended cut, we're saving the commentary track so that if they do make that decision, that's where the commentary track will end up going.

Het is niet zo'n bijzondere link, wel leuk voor mensen dit tijd over hebben. Je krijgt dingen te zien, die je als het goed is al vaker hebt gezien. Maar toch een leuke aanpassing op Google Earth. En nu weten we eindelijk waar Skull Island ligt..

Heb de film vandaag ontvangen op DVD. Mooie hoes met een 'reliëfrijke' Kong. Mooi boekje in de hoes met tekst en uitleg over het maken van de film. Ziet er allemaal erg goed uit.

Hoe ze daar aan komen? Oscar DVD was al super snel gejat, retail master wordt gejat, distributie centrum wordt er eentje achterover gedrukt, winkels die er eentje achterover drukken. Gewoon DVD9 image maken en op newsgroups posten. Daar is niet zoveel fantasie voor nodig. Hoe ze die LOTR TTT hebben gejat, 2 weken voor de officiele release, dat was knap :wink: . Dat is de beste DVD5 die ik ook gezien heb

Ik heb trouwens wel mijn twijfels over de ondertitels... Op een gegeven moment wordt gezegd:

"je bent een sujet"

Nou, volgens mij is dat in NL niet echt een 'gebezigd" woord! Net als 'gebezigd' overigens! :wink:
