Ik zat gisteren een review van de BTTF Trilogy Box te lezen, en daar stond dit:

Compared to the first movie, the transfer on the sequel is a bit better. [...]
However, the problem with this transfer comes in the widescreen framing. In this DVD set, both Part 2 and Part 3 are framed incorrectly in many shots, which crop out some action (such as the hoverboard in one shot late in Part 2). This is a problem, as it is noticeable, such as some scenes where Doc or Marty reach for a button on his futuristic jacket, yet you can't see what they're doing since the framing has chopped out the action.
If it weren't for the framing issues, the transfer would be an 8, at least. But thanks to the fudging up of the widescreen transfer, the image is basically defective. Universal will be offering replacement discs in late February 2003, but as of right now all those discs on store shelves basically feature defective transfers on parts 2 and 3.

Ik heb het nagekeken, en dat probleem hebben de R2 DVD's ook! Ten minste, de set die ik heeft wel. Weet iemand hoe dit zit? Iedereen zit dus met een foute transfer. Heeft Universal ook iets geregeld voor onze Regio? Ik zou toch wel graag een correct beeld hebben...
