Tja .. lijkt leuk maar mijn ervaring is dat het een nieuwe schil is om oude ellende. Qua shortkey is er niets echt veranderd.

Misschien moet ik 'm nog een paar keer opstarten ..

* Certified multi-channel DTS digital surround decoder to play DTS DVD-titles and
DTS Audio CDs. (*)

* Dolby Pro Logic II decoder that processes stereo sources such as MP3, Audio CD,
Video CD, Super Video CD and LPCM/MPEG Audio DVD into surround sound in a
multi-speaker environment. (*)

* SRS TruSurroundXT(tm), an audio package containing TruSurround, Focus and TruBass,
provides enhanced virtual surround sound and virtual bass experience through
2 speakers. (*)

* Allows interactive virtual speakers positioning by utilizing A3D and Microsoft
DirectSound3D technologies.

* Supports Dolby Digital Dynamic Range Control for Quiet, Normal or Noisy environments.

Geen reactie ? .. geen freaks die hun dvd op de pc kijken ?

Ik heb dus ook net versie v 4.0 . Hoe kun je de locatie van de Capture Directory wijzigen ? I draai Windows XP Final en kon die optie ( nog ) niet vinden in PowerDVD 4.0 . Kun je iedere mapje ervoor gebruiken of alleen "My Pictures" ?

Wel een leuk proggie trouwens , en dat capturen is ook wel geining :D

Leuk is misschien de juiste omschrijving, persoonlijk vindt ik het een BAGGER pakket. De functies zijn best wel goed maar de bediening is een ramp (en dat voor software)

Ik wil zelf kunnen bepalen hoe mijn shortkeys eruit zien .. en het meest belachelijke is dat de jog alleen maar met de muis kan worden bestuurd.

Misschien maak ik me wel te druk ...

Je kunt zelf iedere directory (map) instellen waar PowerDVD de capture bestanden in opslaat.

Ga naar 'configuration', op de tab 'general' staat onderaan de knop 'advanced'. Kies deze. Dan zie je een tab 'capture', vink 'capture to a file' aan en met de browse knop bepaal je de map waarin de bestanden komen te staan.

Moet lukken toch?

Ik ben persoonlijk erg gecharmeerd van PowerDVD. Het programma heeft alle functies in huis en de bediening is prima. Ja je moet je muis gebruiken, maar dat is de hele opzet van alle windows programma's.

RSI ... nee dank u

Als ik op de bank zit te kijen wordt ik wel een beetje gestoord van het muis gebruik. De standaard knoppen: Stop Play, Next, Back, FForward en Reverse zijn allemaal wel via een shortkey te bedienen maar de JOG niet (op de muisscrollknop na, maar dat gaat veel te grof). In het donker druk je nog wel op de verkeerde knop .. dus een eigen shortkey layout zo erg fijn zijn.

Maar het is natuurlijk een persoonlijke noot, ik begrijp dat de massa blij is met dit soort players. Vind het alleen raar dat je wel skins mag maken maar niet je eigen keyboard layout .. het is tenslotte software wat flexibel hoort te zijn..

Cyberlink kan wel maar wil niet.

Ik moet zeggen dat PowerDVD 4.0 mij uitermate bevalt.

Ik gebruik 'm ook vaak maar als ik een tweede directdraw (mediaplayer ofzo) scherm open heb staan sputter ie wel. En het afspelen van divx gaat verkeerd door de aspect ratio van het scherm in fullscreen te gebruiken ipv de file.

Hij is sneller dan Windvd in accestime als je losse files afspeelt. Het zou wel leuk zijn als er een softwarematige motion compensation in kwam zoals Philips (natural motion) in zijn TV gebruikt (met aan/uit optie natuurlijk).

Al met al een goede speler met gelukkig genoeg punten tot verbetering.

ik draai zelf windows xp en windows media player 8 kan ook dvd's afspelen door gebruik te maken van de codecs van een geinstalleerd dvd programma.

Ik las ook dat deze codecs apart te verkrijgen zijn. Weet iemand waar, want ik vind het verschil tussen afspelen in PowerDVD en WMP niet te zien.
