al iets bekend over de
R2-releasedatum ?

Weet niet eens of ze hem in Amerika al helemaal hebben uitgezonden. Vaak wordt er pas iets over de release bekend als HBO hem heeft gehad en hij ook in Groot-Brittanie is geweest

Er staat een releasedatum van 01-01-2010 voor de R1 versie op Amazon. :shock:

Zie onderstaande url, ik hoop niet dat we zo lang moeten wachten.

Laten we maar hopen dat dit een foutje is.
Volgens mij zijn alle afleveringen van season 4 al wel uitgezonden in de States.

Cool! Denk niet dat hij rond die tijd zal worden gereleased.... Is nog even ook de vraag hoe ze in Engeland ervoor staan met de uitzending hiervan.

Volgens mij werkt het een beetje als met het releasen van 24 op dvd.

Het volgende verhaal las ik op internet:

The fifth -- and supposedly final -- season of the HBO hit series The Sopranos could offer as many as six episodes in addition to the 13 that have been contracted for, the show's creator, David Chase, has told the New York Daily News. "I'd planned out an arc for Season Five that would have ended the show," Chase said. "But as we're getting into it, we're finding there's a lot more material. We could cram it into 13 episodes, but I don't know that it's the right thing to do. So there may be more episodes." The newspaper suggested that, possibly because of the pay dispute involving star James Gandolfini earlier this year, the final season may not appear until February or March of next year.

De verwachting is dus dat het 5e seizoen het laatste zal zijn. Het schijnt dat er onenigheid is ontstaan over geld (what else?); James Gandolfino wil er meer van zien.
Dit zou ook de reden zijn dat er extra episodes aan season 5 worden geplakt, om alles af te kunnen sluiten.

Verder heb ik gehoord dat de R1 release zoals het er nu uitziet januari volgend jaar gaat worden.

Was voor mij al oud nieuws dat Gandofini meer geld wilde zien en dat ze het bij 5 seizoenen wilden houden. Wat ik niet wist, is dat ze dan meer afleveringen wilden maken. Had weleens ergens gelezen dat ze nog een film wilden maken...
