Vind alleen de box er wel mooier uitzien dan de R2. Die Q is echt erg gaaf, en naar mijn idee veel mooier dan de R2 en geloof R3 box, ook. Maar ja, als de inhoud maar hetzelfde blijft.

Ik had geluk dat ik de Legacybox voor die tijd nog even van de hand kon doen. Ook al heb ik wel de eerste 2-disc gehouden en heb ik alleen de 2e 3e en 4e DVD weggedaan, want de documantaire staat er niet op. Scotts commentaar is anders, en de 2 alternatieve geluidstracks komen ook niet in de NW terug.

Volgens DVD compare is er nog niets bekend, maar FOX kennende (ook al is ook dat wel anders geweest toen de DVD net op de markt was) blijven de extra's wel hetzelfde. Wat hoogstens kan veranderen is dat de DTS eraf gaat, zoals recent nog met Road To Perdition en From Hell gebeurde, maar daar ga ik niet vanuit.

De extra's die missen op de Quadrilogie ten opzichte van de Legacybox zijn :

De verschillen tussen R1 en R2: OVERALL : R1 - Region 1 allows you to listen to the audio commentary with either version of the film, but on the Region 2, the tracks are available only on: "Director´s Cut" of "Alien", "Special Edition" of "Aliens", "Theatrical Release" of "Alien 3", and "Theatrical Release" of "Alien: Resurrection". Further more, on the Region 1 discs, you can view an optional "deleted footage" marker, and you´re also able to view the "deleted footage" from the theatrical cut's "Supplements menu". Both of these options are missing from the Region 2 discs. R2 is also missing the "script to screen comparisons". Both cover and menu designs differ slightly between the Region 1 and 2 discs.

is er iemand die zo vriendelijk wil zijn om de achterzijde van de fold-out binnenhoes een keertje te fotograferen ? Ben toch wel benieuwd wat men daar zoal heeft op geprint... en misschien ook een korte omschrijving over wat er in het bijgeleverde boekje beschreven staat (want net zoals bij de Legacy-box maakt Fox er een gewoonte van om nooit een extra boekje bij de Europese versie te leveren en da's jammer aangezien hier soms wel leuke weetjes in vermeld worden...ik kan toch weeral geen twee quadrilogy boxen gaan kopen hoop ik (de video's, de laserdiscs, de US Legacy, de EU en nu...een aparte kamer voor alien franchise?) :?

Heb vandaag de DC bekeken van de eersste Alien. Wat me opviel dat een paar scenes werden herhaald binnen de film, achter elkaar. Dus twee keer achter elkaar een bepaalde scene. Hebben meer mensen hier last van?

Ik heb ook de director's cut gekeken van Alien en heb geen last gehad van scenes die dubbel werder afgespeelt. Misschien geeft je speler problemen met seamless branching, of heb je al meerdere dvd's hiermee?
