Heej luitjes,
Ik heb een vraagje over mijn dvdspeler (samsung HT-DM150). Ik weet niet of het nodig is, maar dit zijn de specs met een plaatje:

Ik zie vaak bij onlineshops coole dvd´s die hier nog niet uit zijn. Ze zijn dan regio 1 en dat zou betekenen dat ik ze niet af kan spelen. Nu heb ik een beetje zitten googlen en kwam ik op de volgende site:

Met deze methode zou ik hem volgens die site regiovrij kunnen maken:
METHOD
HT-DM150
HT-DB120
HT-SK5 1. Open tray and remove any disks in tray.
2. Close tray.
3. Switch Off Player and Unplug from mains wait 30 seconds (this clears RAM)
4. Reconnect to mains
5. Turn on player with remote.
6. Press ENTER on remote.
7. Press 8, 4, 2, 6, 9. Using keys on remote.if your player is already set to region 2
8. Press ENTER on remote. (The tray will open and player will power off and close tray.)
9. Switch on power from remote.
10. Player is now Region Free.
You may have to repeat steps 6-8 before the tray opened and the player powered off. Apparently the same codes word to unlock region 1 players too.
Newer versions of this player may not work with the hack.
NOTE:
The Aux 1 and Aux 2 functions are now changed to "Audio In" only so I#you can't see the picture from the VCR player. Plus some discs no longer play in widescreen mode, and; Surround sound delay is no longer a settable option. You will need to set the machine back to the default settings.
Nu is mijn vraag: kan m´n speler kapot gaan als ik deze methode probeer? En wat houdt die note precies in? Graag advies.
Mocht het zo zijn dat dit helemaal niet mag op het forum, mijn excuses daarvoor dan en verwijder m´n topic dan maar.
