The Themescene H57 is the next in a hugely successful line-up of mid-range DLP projectors from Optoma Themescene. It's predecessors the themescene H50, themescene H55 and themescene H56 all offered best in class image quality, usually giving much more expensive competition a run for their money. The H57 does not dissapoint with the major changes from the H56 model being the new DarkChip2 technology which boosts contrast to a highly impressive 3500:1, 23dB silent operation through a Revolutionary Shield Design casing (which also combats lightspill) and a permanent widescreen resolution of 1024 x 576. As with the themescene H56, the themescene H57 gives RGB Scart, Component Video, DVI Video and HDMI video compatibility allowing a wide choice of input signal types to the machine.
