Eindelijk nieuws over deze zwaar ondergewaardeerde film van Oliver Stone. 2 versies zullen op 2 augustus dit jaar het licht zien. Warner heeft alvast een klein bericht hierover doen uitgaan. Warner Home Video have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Alexander for 2nd August 2005. Oliver Stone recreates the towering, true story of Alexander the Great (Colin Farrell), who in the 4th Century BC conquered Greece, Persia, Afghanistan and India- 90% of the known world.
Alexander will arrive in separate Theatrical and Director's Cut editions priced at $29.95 SRP each. Details follow...

Opvallend is dat DVD Times voor de director's cut een runtime opgeeft van 167 minuten, terwijl DVD Answers (http://www.dvdanswers.com/index.php?r=0&s=1&c=6595&n=1&burl=) het over maar liefst 334 minuten heeft (vijf en een half uur!). Er moet wel bij worden vermeld dat dit met een grote korrel zou genomen moet worden, maar dat getal moet toch ergens vandaan komen? Hopelijk bied het officiele bericht van Warner meer uitkomst. We wachten af...
