Universal Studios Home Video have announced the Region 1 DVD release of The Sting (Special Edition) for 6th September 2005 priced at $26.98 SRP. Paul Newman and Robert Redford star in George Roy Hill's 1973 crime classic.

This two-disc set presents the film in 1.85:1 Anamorphic Widescreen with English DD5.1 Surround and 2.0 Stereo, French DD5.1 Surround and Spanish DD2.0 Mono audio options with optional English, French and Spanish subtitles. Bonus features are TBC.

Robert De Niro stars in director Michael Cimino's 1978 classic which examines the way that the Vietnam war affects the lives of people in a small industrial town in the USA.

This two-disc set presents the film in 2.35:1 Anamorphic Widescreen with English and Spanish Stereo audio plus optional English, French and Spanish subtitles. Bonus features are TBC.

Gregory Peck stars in Robert Mulligan's 1962 classic in which a lawyer in the Depression-era South defends a black man against an undeserved rape charge and his kids against prejudice.

This two-disc set presents the film in 1.85:1 Anamorphic Widescreen with English DD2.0 Mono, DD5.1 & DTS 5.1 Surround, French DD2.0 Mono plus English, French and Spanish subtitles. Bonus features are TBC.

The Deer Hunter ga ik zeker halen,To kill a mockingbird weet ik nog niet.Die haal ik denk ik eerst ff goedkoop,om te zien hoe die is. :wink:

To kill a mockingbird ga ik niet double dippen maar ik ben blij dat er nu eindelijk een goeie editie van The Deer Hunter uitkomt. Het zal wel importeren worden want de rechten liggen hier in Nederland bij Video Film Express en die gaat het nooit lukken om deze editie hier uit te brengen. :(

Wat een teleurstelling van The Deer Hunter zeg, kan je beter de R2UK kopen. Die heeft tenminste Dolby Digital 5.1 en betere extra's.
