Fox Home Entertainment has announced the Ridley Scott directed Kingdom of Heaven which stars Orlando Bloom, Liam Neeson, Jeremy Irons and Eva Green. The two-disc set will be available to own from the 11th October this year, and should retail at around $29.98. The film itself will be presented in anamorphic widescreen, along with both English DTS 5.1 and Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround tracks. Extras will include a text commentary stream consisting of both production and historical notes, synchronous with film, an interactive production grid which allows users to tailor the "Making Of" material to their liking (no less than 16 different ways and approx 125 minutes), a fourty-five minute A&E Movie Real: "Kingdom of Heaven" featurette, and the History Channel's "History vs Hollywood" "Kingdom of Heaven", which runs to around 48 minutes. Completing the package will be a Ridley Scott - "Creating Worlds" featurette, featurettes on the production and wardrobe, an Orlando Bloom "The Adventure of a Lifetime" featurette, trailers, and an inside look at Tristan & Isolde.
