Screen Daily reports that Woody Allen's second film shot in the UK will be titled Scoop. The London-filmed project is expected to hit theaters in summer 2006.
Scarlett Johansson, who also stars in Allen's London-set Match Point (http://www.dvd.nl/forum/showthread.php?t=38520), plays an American journalism student visiting London who investigates a series of murders and falls in love with a dashing Englishman (Hugh Jackman). Ian McShane plays a man who eggs her own in her sleuthing and Allen plays a man posing as her father.
After taking a break from acting in Melinda and Melinda and Match Point, Scoop will mark Allen's first on-screen appearance since 2003's Anything Else.
