Disney has announced single and double-disc editions of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe which stars Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes, William Moseley, Anna Popplewell and Tilda Swinton. Both discs will be available to own from the 4th April, with the single-disc edition retailing at $28.95, and the two-disc setting you back $34.99. Each DVD will carry a 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, and English Dolby Digital 5.1 track. The only extras on the single-disc will be a commentary with director Andrew Adamson and Cast, and a second commentary with the production team. The two-disc collector's edition will include both of the above, along with a collector’s booklet, a Chronicles of A Director film diary, some fun facts, bloopers, Anatomy of a Scene: The Melting River, personal film diaries from key production members (producer, production designer, costume designer, editor, music composer, effects and director of photography), and featurettes on the creature creation. Completing the package will be a From One Man's Mind feature on author C.S. Lewis, a 3D journey through the land of Narnia, and a Narnia timeline.

Buena Vista Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe for 4th April 2006. Walt Disney Pictures’ third highest grossing live-action film of all time will be available as a Single-Disc DVD ($29.99 SRP) and 2-Disc Collector’s Edition DVD ($34.99 SRP). The Special Edition takes viewers on a deeper adventure into the world of Narnia with nearly ten hours of bonus features – including a behind-the-scenes tour with the film’s child stars, director’s diary, ‘cinematic storytellers’ film diaries, multiple audio commentaries, 3-D map, interactive timeline, featurettes on the creatures and much more. The “Narnia” DVD production team worked with the filmmakers from the very start of the film’s production, resulting in exclusive, never-before-seen bonus features that deliver unprecedented access into this cinematic blockbuster.

Ja en het begint me nu wel een beetje te irriteren dat elke middelmatige film ook nog weer een extended cut moet krijgen. Als ze zo graag de deleted scenes er weer tussen willen plakken kunnen ze dat toch prima met seamless branching doen.

Home Media Retailing has revealed early details on an extended edition of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe which stars Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes, William Moseley, and Anna Popplewell. The film will arrive in two different incarnations - a four-disc extended edition ($42.99), and a giftset ($79.99), both of which will only been available for seven weeks. The four-disc extended edition will have enhanced special effects and an extended, climactic battle scene. Extras will include a “Visualizing The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe: The Complete Production Experience” feature which takes an in-depth look at the process and technology of adapting the book into the film, Narnia fun facts, bloopers, commentaries from the filmmakers and stars, as well as behind-the-scenes and making-of featurettes. The giftset will include all of that, along with a pair of heirloom quality bookends from WETA. Stay tuned for further details.

Ik had hem vorige week al binnen. Erg toffe set. Van het weekend gekeken, de meeste toevogingen zijn niet te zien. behalve in de battle scene, daar zitten wel een paar hele mooie extra shot's in.
Voor de rest leuke film.
waar had je `m besteld? hoop `m morgen/overmorgen te krijgen, maar zal wel later in de week worden: nooit thuis ivm met werk :roll: :x :evil:
