Drawing on an experience attained through many years of development, this TV boasts of the latest 100Hz technology called Motion Mastering.
Not only does 100Hz reduce annoying flicker to give you rock steady pictures, Motion Mastering will reduce the artefacts caused when cameras pan rapidly from side to side, as in sports programming.
Built-in Intelligent Noise Reduction or INR further removes unwanted signals ensuring the purest picture possible.
52" Wide 16:9 Screen
The gigantic 52" screen goes a long way towards making the images life size while the 16:9 format ensures that you are ready when this format becomes increasingly common as in the case of digital television.
Auto-Formatting
When connected to a suitable DVD player, Auto-Formatting automically re-sizes your screen, saving you the trouble of going through a long list of commands to make sure you have the right aspect ratio.
Zoom Feature
A 5-stage zoom enables you to zoom a 4:3 picture to fully utilise the 16:9 screen. You can even scroll the zoomed picture vertically in order to cut off subtitles if so desired.
Picture and Sound Controls
Full Picture and sound Controls are provided. You have the choice of 5 different preset picture settings - PERSONAL/ STANDARD/ FILM/ STUDIO/ SPORT and 3 different preset sound settings - STEREO/ NICAM/ VIRTUAL DOLBY depending on the sound broadcast (stereo or mono) are surround mode setting (On or Off).
