Op 13 februari verschijnt in Engeland Oliver Twist uit 2005 op DVD. A-Film brengt de film op 8 juni in Nederland uit op DVD. Hieronder de specificaties van de Engelse versie.
Pathé Distribution Ltd. have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of Oliver Twist for 13th February 2006 priced at £19.99. Academy Award-winning director Roman Polanski re-imagines Charles Dickens’ story of a young orphan boy in 19th Century London. When Oliver Twist (Barney Clark) escapes from a miserable apprenticeship to London, the Artful Dodger (Harry Eden) initiates him in to an infamous gang of pickpockets led by the notorious Fagin (Academy Award-winner Sir Ben Kingsley). After a robbery goes wrong an innocent Oliver soon finds himself on the run from the evil Bill Sykes (Jamie Foreman). Mixing dark comedy, sumptuous sets and visionary imagination this classic tale celebrates the triumph of a little boy’s spirit.
