Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Memoirs of a Geisha for 28th March 2006 priced at $28.96 SRP. Born from the creative vision of Academy Award®-nominated director Rob Marshall (Chicago) comes this beautiful adaptation of the New York Times best-selling novel by Arthur Golden. Starring Golden Globe®* and SAG** Award nominee Ziyi Zhang (House of Flying Daggers), Ken Wantanabe (The Last Samurai), Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) and Gong Li (2046), the film has been nominated for six Oscars®, including Best Art Direction, Cinematography, Sound Mixing, Sound Editing, Original Score and Costume.

Released as a two-disc set features include:
