Sl8N8 - Slaughter Night (R1)

Tartan Video USA has announced the upcoming release of Slaughter Night (SL8N8) for 10th April. In this film Kristel's father dies in a car crash, she then decides to go down his abandoned mine with some friends to retrieve a manuscript he had written about serial killers... Slaughter Night will run for 90 minutes in a widescreen aspect ratio with its original Dutch audio track in Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 6.1. Subtitles will support English and Spanish. Special features have yet to be confirmed.

Slaughter Night, called SL8N8 in its original Dutch (which makes sense because eight is spelled 'acht', 'slaughter' is spelled 'slacht' and 'night' spelled 'nacht'), wins a few points for not being a pure slasher film. It's also part possession flick, so it's kind of like Evil Dead meets My Bloody Valentine.
