Het zijn gewoon de films die ik aan m'n filmcollectie wil toevoegen. Het gaat niet zozeer om DVD's. Bv als ik een VHS tegenkom van een film die niet op DVD uit is of komt, dan rip ik die gewoon mee, als de prijs goed is. Ik heb veel van m'n wishlist gezien, maar het merendeel niet. Was het maar waar!

Ik weet het, ik schaam me diep :o
Bear in mind: ik ben 20 jr., student en dus geldloos. Ik woon in the middle of nowhere (geen goede videotheken) en heb geen auto, dus festivals zijn out of the question.
Stalker van Tarkovsky heb ik inmiddels ongeveer op #30 staan: Top100 is nog niet geupdate. Ik denk niet dat er ooit wat van Ford, Chapling of Lang (hoog) in mijn top100 komt. Niet mijn type cineasten, denk ik. De rest, vooral Bergman en Tarkovsky lijken me echt super: hier wil ik erg graag films van zien!!! Dit kan ik echter jammer genoeg op m'n buik schrijven. :(

Ik heb het geprobeerd. Ik zweer dat ik mijn best heb gedaan, maar ik kwam op meer dan 300 films en kon niet schrappen, omdat ik het zo onrechtvaardig (lees: kinderachtig) vond. :( Vandaar voor mij geen top 100; misschien ooit wel een top 500 of zo, maar dan met de beste films van Bergman, Visconti, Fellini, Lang, Ford, Gance, Chaplin, Alain Resnais, Marcel Carné, Godard, Truffaut, Shosie Imamura, Eric Rohmer, Pedro Almadovar, enz; erbij. (Heb nu al spijt dat ik weer een hele groep grote regisseurs vergeten ben a la Ernst Lubitisch, Rainer Werner Fashbinder, Wim Wenders, Tarkovski, Ang Lee...). :o

Mijn wishlist is zeer eenvoudig ik koop namelijk alleen spektakel en oorlogsfilms.

Ik heb het geprobeerd. Ik zweer dat ik mijn best heb gedaan, maar ik kwam op meer dan 300 films en kon niet schrappen, omdat ik het zo onrechtvaardig (lees: kinderachtig) vond. :( Vandaar voor mij geen top 100; misschien ooit wel een top 500 of zo, maar dan met de beste films van Bergman, Visconti, Fellini, Lang, Ford, Gance, Chaplin, Alain Resnais, Marcel Carné, Godard, Truffaut, Shosie Imamura, Eric Rohmer, Pedro Almadovar, enz; erbij. (Heb nu al spijt dat ik weer een hele groep grote regisseurs vergeten ben a la Ernst Lubitisch, Rainer Werner Fashbinder, Wim Wenders, Tarkovski, Ang Lee...). :o

Ik houw zelf van het acteren van spektakel films. Ik weet niet waarom ik dat kan verkalren maar ik vind het spel veel beter.

De vele figurante bv bij ben-hur zie je een hele kolonie romeinen lopen en dan draaien ze ook nog de juiste muziek erbij. Je krijgt er rilingen van(maar alles is ook perfect van die film wat perfect kan zijn de beste acteur's de beste muziek ooit de vele goede figuranten het is een meesterwerk) .
Of dat cleopatra romen in gaat bv(maar wat dacht je van liz traylor als cleopatra al is er een die dat na kan doen is het zij wel).

En die stem bij the ten commandments toen mozes werkte bij de slaven kamp ik dacht dat het was ingesproken door Cecil B. DeMille

Ik kan nog vele voorbeelden noemen.


En ik vind dat een dvd niet om het hebben gaat maar een beloning is voor een goede film. Alleen erg jammer dat de verpaking van ben-hur erg tegen valt. Zonde van zo'n film ik hoop dat er ooit nog een versie van uit komt waar de film recht op hebt.
Ik dacht aan net zo'n versie als cleopatra.


De gewone film vind ik vaak erg snel gaan te amerikaans. En het spel vindt ik veel minder.
Ik kijk ook wel gewone films maar dan op tv ze verdienen geen plaats in mijn dvd collectie.
En nog iets ik vind een film van 110 min bv het geld niet waard wat je betaalt voor een dvd.
