Nieuw project van DreamWorks Animations: Master Mind (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1001526/).
Plot: ...the film is a satirical send-up of the superhero genre, built around the story of a super villain who must find a new motivation after accidentally killing his archrival, Uberman, in the opening scene of the movie.
Oorspronkelijk bedacht als concept voor een live action-film, maar nu gaat het project door als animatiefilm met een geplande releasedatum van november 2010. Volgens dit artikel (http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=48283) zijn Robert Downey Jr. en Tina Fey in bespreking om de hoofdpersonages van stemmen te voorzien.
De film wordt overigens geproduceerd door een werkmaatschappij van Ben Stiller. Als zodanig zou Master Mind dus een nieuwe samenwerking tussen Stiller en Downey Jr. zijn.
De superhelden-/evil mastermind-satire is weliswaar niet helemaal origineel meer (The Incredibles van Pixar, Igor (http://www.dvd.nl/forum/showthread.php?t=60295) van Sparx* (http://www.sparx.com/)), maar als het creatief genoeg wordt uitgewerkt, dan kan het best een leuke film worden.
