Black Sunday/Black Sands
Arnold Schwarzenegger als engel in Black Sunday

Arnold Schwarzenegger (http://www.filmtotaal.nl/persoon.php?id=9009) rond op dit moment de opnames af voor de film Last Stand (http://www.filmtotaal.nl/film.php?id=20313). Hierna gaat hij aan de slag met de film Black Sunday (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2098640/), eerder bekend onder de naam Black Sands. Tegenover de website The Arnold Fans liet hij heel kort iets kwijt over zijn rol in de sci-fi actiefilm van de regisseurs Scott Waugh (http://www.filmtotaal.nl/persoon.php?id=61311) en Mike McCoy (http://www.filmtotaal.nl/persoon.php?id=108891). Van dit duo zien we in 2012 de film Act of Valor (http://www.filmtotaal.nl/film.php?id=21069).
The Austrian Oak tegenover de website: "I'm a kind of angel" en - helaas - "I can not currently say more about this film." De film zal volgens The Arnold Fans vermoedelijk een soort van kruising worden tussen Constantine en Commando. Op IMDb staat zijn personage vermeld als "The Stranger".
Black Sunday moet in 2013 verschijnen. Daarvoor zien we Schwarzenegger in The Expendables 2 (http://www.filmtotaal.nl/film.php?id=20015) en dus ook Last Stand (http://www.filmtotaal.nl/film.php?id=20313). Deze verschijnen op 16 augutsus 2012 en respectievelijk 18 januari 2013.

Schwarzenegger, putting the finishing touches on his current action film Last Stand, will be back to Belen, New Mexico in only three months for an April 1st production start date for his new film Black Sands!
The Austrian Oak is returning to the genre he does best: action mixed with sci-fi/fantasy ! YES, it turns out Arnold will play an immortal and he concludes "I'm a kind of angel," he says, "I can not currently say more about this film."
Schwarzenegger has no other future roles that he is committed to act this time. Expect this movie, with Arnold raging war against weapons dealers as an immortal instrument of death, to be a cross between Constantine and Commando!
Black Sands will be directed by Scott Waugh and Mike McCoy. Financed by Bill Block’s QED, the film will begin production April 1, 2012. It looks like 2012 will be an excellent year! Be sure to LIKE our Facebook page found HERE (http://www.facebook.com/TheArnoldFans)!

Okay, it looks like we are back to the film title "Black Sands!" An Arnold rep contacted us and explained there must have been a translation problem from Google translator on the title.
The original source, written by one of Arnold's close Austrian friends, either accidentally wrote "Black Sunday" or the translation to English was off. Either way, it sounds like the plot remains equally as exciting!
