Nog nooit extra's bekeken. Heb al te weinig tijd om al mn films te kijken

Ik heb bijna 500 dvds en ongeveer de helft daarvan moet ik de extra's nog bekijken. :wink:

Maar hiers wat info over de Matrix-box die ik op 'n andere thread had gezet:

"... our source also tells us that the likely release date of REVOLUTIONS on home video is more likely in or around April -- and that when the movie comes out it won't be available as part of a boxed set of the MATRIX movies, at least not yet. "It will be released shortly thereafter, but it's not a compilation of all the DVDs," says our agent. "It's something better and different."

Dat laatste zinnetje belooft wat.

Heb in een interview met de producer gelezen dat de box ook de fragmenten uit het spelletje zullen bevatten. Dus die zitten dan tussen de films gemonteerd...

Ik zei dus: heb interview met producer gelezen, en daarin zei hij dat voor de box de stukken uit het spelletje tussen de films zullen worden gemonteerd...

Ik heb vernomen dat WB eindelijk DVD's met DTS gaat uitbrengen en dat deze box de eerste release zou zijn met DTS (vernomen van iemand die bij RCV heeft gewerkt, weet natuurlijk niet of het waar is, maar hoop doet leven he :wink: )

Wat is er dan zo bijzonder aan een dts-track als de dolbytrack al goed is?

zo bijzonder vond ik die Dolby track van reloaded helemaal niet... Mochten ze er een DTS variant van maken dan mogen ze de achter kanalen wel wat harder afmixen, en de totaalmix een paar dB opkrikken

Matrix Box Set Planned

So says Joel Silver in an interview.

December 23, 2003 - The Matrix producer Joel Silver has answered one of the most common questions that arrive here at IGN DVD: will there be a box set for The Matrix series? The answer is yes.

In the December 2003 issue of DVD Etc., on newsstands now, Silver discusses the film, among other things, and says the following:

We're planning to do staggering things with it in the future. There will be a box set of all three 'Matrix' films.

When asked about special features, he said it was being decided, and added that he would like to do another transfer of the first Matrix film.

He didn't give any time frame for this. So there you have it, a little gift of news from Joel Silver.

Don't bet on it.
Van Reloaded kwam er gelijk een 2 disc uit; van the Matrix kwam er in 1999 een enkel disc uit.
Revisited was ter compensatie (en om de kas te spekken).

Maar je weet nooit natuurlijk...

EMP said it is working on "over one dozen hours of new material for this upcoming collectors [sic] edition release. This expanded edition of discs will include detailed documentaries on the philosophy and science behind the Matrix scripts as well as a look at the history of action cinema. EMP is also creating a densely layered documentary package estimated at nine total hours using footage that has not been seen in the other Matrix releases."

So it looks like the box set will be more than just throwing the three movies in one package. EMP didn't mention a release date, which means it's not set or they had the good sense to keep quiet about that.
