Op DVDSoon staat er Keepcase, maar aan de afbeelding te zien lijkt het mij niet logisch. Dat slotje ziet er een beetje verdacht uit, volgens mij kan dit niet uit uit karton of iets dergelijks gemaakt zijn

Op de site van www.paramount.nl staat niks dus zal die versie niet in NL uitkomen helaas.........

Dit is het antwoord op het mailtje m.b.t. een R2 release van deze speciale uitgave van SPR. Dan ga ik toch maar de DTS-versie R2 bestellen bij FRS ik zie in de winkels wel altijd de gewone versie R2 in de aanbieding maar de DTS versie R2 zie je nergens liggen.

Ik het even voor u nagekeken, maar ik kan helaas niet vinden over plannen voor een release van de Saving Private Ryan D-Day 60th Anniversary Commemorative Edition.

Mocht hierover iets bij ons bekend worden dan zal dit op onze site
(www.paramount.nl) bekend worden gemaakt.

-New SAVING PRIVATE RYAN DVD soundtrack snafu?
It appears as if DreamWorks Home Video has quietly revamped their plans for next week's SAVING PRIVATE RYAN DVD releases and its not going to make some fans happy.

As you may already know, the "D-Day 60th Anniversary Commemorative Edition" will be available in a 2-disc DVD set and as part of a box set that includes (a version) of the 2-disc set, along with the Spielberg-produced WWII documentaries SHOOTING WAR and PRICE FOR PEACE, plus a reprint of the SAVING PRIVATE RYAN photo book.

As originally reported by this site and every DVD site known to man, DreamWorks announced that the film would be available with both a 5.1 Dolby Digital and 5.1 DTS soundtrack on both editions of the release, but it now appears as if fans who want both the Dolby and the DTS may have to spring for both the stand-alone and the box set.

According to Universal Home Video (who distributes DreamWorks video titles), the stand-alone 2-disc edition will now include an "English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround" track, plus a "French Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround" track. The part number of this release is 91700.

The boxset will include a version of the 2-disc DVD set that will include both "English DTS 5.1 Surround" and "English Dolby Surround" (2.0) soundtracks. The part number for this release is 91699. amazon.com is now promoting the DTS track as an "exclusive" to the boxset.

To recap, if you want to own the DTS edition of the film, you'll have to spring for the boxset (a good deal money-wise in itself), but if you want both the Dolby 5.1 and the DTS, you'll have to buy both.

All other specs appear to remain consistent and unchanged between both releases of the DVD.

Universal/DreamWorks has been rather consistent with releasing every Spielberg DVD as of late with some foul up or money-grubbing ploy to annoy and inflame consumers.

Heb hem net binnen en is dus geen tin can.
Wel een mooie sleeve met daarin een soort boek met daarin de 2 dvd's.
Geen boekje, of zo; ook jammer.

De box en SPR zijn beide D-Day edities
De box heeft in ieder geval DTS.

Maar de SPR dday versie? DTS of alleen DD?

De losse SPR heeft 5.1 geluid en de box (zoals ik al zei ) DTS.

Volgens mijn niet, ik kan in ieder geval nergens die info vinden en heb van FRS ook gewoon de digipack gekregen en geen tin-can, ze ook maar even vriendelijk "ahum" gemaild.
