Arriving early next year in two-disc special edition form will be The Fifth Element starring Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich, and Leon which stars Jean Reno and Natalie Portman. Both will be available to own from the 11th January, priced at around $24.96 each. Extras on The Fifth Element will include a Star Element featurette and film gallery, a Visual Element featurette and film gallery, Alien Element which is another gallery of featurettes, a Digital Element featurette and more. The special edition of Leon will also include a wealth of new extra material, along with the unrated international version of the movie in a Superbit™ presentation. Extras will include a ten year reunion featurette entitled The Professional, a Trial by Fire: Natalie Portman As Mathilda featurette, a Birth of a Star: Jean Reno As Leon featurette and more. We'll bring you further details on these new titles, including the official region one artwork, shortly. Stay tuned.

Dit is net zo goed nieuws, beide titels komen sowieso in m'n collectie, maar die Leon for sure. Yesssssssssss!!!

Heb ik toch wel niet Leon SE R3 gekocht zeker... Zonder noemenswaardige extra's... Maar ja, ik heb er in totaal € 15 voor betaald, dus als deze releases echt goed zijn, koop ik 'm nog wel.
Zelfde verhaal met Ronin, ik heb 'm voor € 10 gekocht, dus die SE zou ik ook nog graag hebben...

Hmmm, best kans dat beide titels een "double-dip" gaan worden. Toch wacht ik eerst even af of de beeld- en geluidskwaliteit kunnen tippen aan de eerdere uitgaves:

Vooral de R1 Superbit uitgave van The Fifth Element staat heeel erg hoog in mijn lijstje perfect beeld en geluid.........

Zal wel, want de R3 heeft geen noemenswaardige extra's. En waarom die R3 zonodig op 2 discs moest... Mbv seamless branching kon dat toch mooi op één disc? Maja, wel 'n mooie uitgave!

Wat is een du disc? Uit duitsland?
Nou, ik heb juist altijd gewacht op een R1 SE aangezien de beeldkwaliteit van de R2 echt belabberd is:

En Leon krijgt voor de eerste keer fatsoenlijke extra's, als je daar niet van houdt hoef je hem idd niet te kopen, vind je dat wel leuk is dit natuurlijk een perfecte dvd.

maar toch: vind ook altijd minder dat er zo ubergroot Superbit op de hoes staat en dat de eigenlijke hoes van de film van secundair belang is.

Coole cover, maar is geen gerucht meer hoor. Is een feit dat deze nu uit gaat komen.
En de R3 is nooit erg om te hebben, ziet er gewoon erg mooi uit die hoes.

Ik hou de R3 dan denk ik ook gewoon, en koop deze sowieso!!

Leuke cover idd, maar die foto hadden ze weg moeten laten. Of op de achterkant moeten plakken. Maar kopen doe ik m in ieder geval! :wink:

Net zoals ik waarschijnlijk ook de R3 nog wel ga bestellen. Simpelweg omdat daar een goede originele versie opstaat.

maar is geen gerucht meer hoor. Is een feit dat deze nu uit gaat komen.

ff een vraagje Hare, waar had jij die quote eigenlijk vandaan gehaald? Ik heb hem nog nergens in de pre-order gezien, en alle informatie heb ik uit forums gehaald, dus ik heb eigenlijk nog geen hard bewijs gezien.

Heb toch maar vast de r3 besteld bij koreandvds met malena voor dezelfde verzendkosten

zag ergens anders nog een plaatje van de r3-versie uitgeklapt en dat was de spreekwoordelijke druppel

wat een digipack voor maar iets minder dan 11 euro, bovendien ben ik toch wel zeer benieuwd naar de half uur extra film en als de r1 versie nog uitkomt met extra's, dts en commentaartrack van NP dan koop ik hem ook nog wel een keer, maak ik er een mooie 4 disc editie van
