Roseanne - 1st Season's Ship Date, Cost, & Cover Art!

Fans of Roseanne have wanted DVDs of the show for a looooooong time, and even the show's star started wondering about it early last year. So everybody was very happy when Carsey Werner announced that they had signed up Anchor Bay Entertainment to bring out season sets in the second half of 2005. Now we have the exact date for you!

August 30, 2005 is the one you can circle on your calendar. We're also informed that the cost will be $39.98 for a 4-DVD set. No other information is available just yet, but we have your very first look at the cover art for this highly anticipated release (one of the most requested items at TVShowsOnDVD!):

Ik hoop alleen niet dat het zo gigantisch lang duurt voordat ie hier in Nederland verkrijgbaar is zoals bijv. "Full House" en "Everwood"...

Aaron M was the first to write in to let us know that Roseanne Barr appeared on The Tonight Show and talked about her upcoming DVD set. She also mentioned that season 2 would appear 3 months after the release of the first set, placing it sometime in November. We quickly checked with Anchor Bay and they told us the second season will be released on December 6, just in time for the holidays.

Nieuws voor Season 2: artwork NOT SYNDICATED!!

Anchor Bay has released artwork for the second season of Roseanne (releasing on December 6, and it contains some good news: the episodes will be the original network versions! There's also mention of an interview with John Goodman, "and more.''

heb ergens gelezen dat die waarschijnlijk niet uitkomt, dat heeft Roseanne Barr zelf gezegt in een interview

Ik vind dat dit soort series (zoals bijv. Home Improvement, etc.) voor 20 a 25 euro verkocht zouden moeten worden...

Wat ik gehoord heb is dat de Roseanne niet in NL uitkomen,
het had iets te maken met Anchor Bay.

Mja ik ben super blij met mijn R2UK S1 versie!
ik w8 op S2 R2uk (die hebben 5-discs en een mooie digipack),
want die Amerikaanse versie (2-keepcases in een slipcase) is niet echt mijn ding!

Helaas nooit, Anchor Bay released de DVD's van Roseanne niet in NL.

ok dat is weer erg jammer, ik heb daarvoor (in amerika naja de sites dan) nog een petitie voor getekend, beetje jammer dan ze het niet releasen in nl...

Inderdaad erg jammer. Ze hebben ook de rechten van "3rd Rock from the Sun" Een erg leuke comedy.
Komt voorlopig dan dus ook niet hier uit, hmmm.
