Memento SE 2 disc versie

JA JA de R2 memento ligt nog niet in de winkel of er komt alweer een R1 SE 2 disc versie aan, zo gaat dat nou altijd ...... zo jammer dat de commerciele belangen worden uitgevochten over de rug van ons (de klant), zo zal het altijd blijven en daarom heb ik vaak 2 versies van een topper

Ja.....maar ik had wel gehoord dat de orginele R1 versie heel weinig extra's had, en dat het dus best wel eens dezelfde versie zo kunnen zijn als de R2 versie die hier bij ons binnenkort in de winkels ligt....maar die dan in de States de titel S.E. meekrijgt.

Ik hoop wel dan dat de versie die hier in Nl uitkomt, ook de Easter egg bevat, waarmee je de film in chronologische volgorde
kan afspelen. De R2 Uk versie heeft deze Easter Egg wel.

Ik koop anders zeker de UK versie, want de enige reden dat ik nu wacht op de NL is voor de subs. Doordat het een nogal complexe film schijnt te zijn lijkt me dit toch iets prettiger. Maar als dit ten koste moet gaan van die easter egg, dan maar geen NL subs ....

Ik las vanmiddag in een engels DVD-blad bij de AKO op Sloterdijk (DVD-review ofzo) het volgende (het is geen exact citaat, maar ik doe mijn best ) :
Er komt een re-release van R1 Memento. Is dit een nieuwe trend, dat er een nieuwe R1-versie wordt uitgebracht als ze het in R2 heel goed gedaan hebben?

Het lijkt er dus op dat onze R2-versie goed is en dat ze nu in R1-land ook een betere versie gaan uitbrengen.

Klopt is voor R1 versie. Ik weet niet eens of de S.E. in R2 uitkomt.

Bij www.amazon.com kan je Memento S.E. (2-disc) al pre-orderen. Er staan daar ook specs, o.a. Eastereggs. Dit zou wel eens een iets uitgebreidere versie kunnen zijn van de R2 UK versie.

Columbia Tristar have finally announced the details for the upcoming limited edition release of Memento. Due for release on May 21st, the movie will be presented in anamorphic 2.35:1 with DTS5.1, DD5.1 and DD2.0 Surround audio.

Extra features will be spread over two discs and will include an audio commentary with Director Christopher Nolan, The Anatomy Of A Scene: Sundance Channel documentary, the Director's shooting script, theatrical trailers, an original short story, international campaigns information, production stills & sketches.

Apparently to access any of the features, or even the movie itself, you will have to pass a series of "psychic evaluation tests" tests. This could be an ingenius way to promote the potential of interactive DVD, or it could be a really annoying unskippable feature.

Apart form the Director's commentary, the extras for this release do seem a to be a little bland. It is also worth noting that the quite decent chronological feature, that is present on the UK R2 release, is not planned for this R1 Limited Edition.

Tjezus, wat een zooitje die Memento dvd. Wel of geen "chronologie"-easteregg. Eindelijk uit in NL, maar in verschillende versies. NL versie niet in 2.35:1 maar wel weer met DTS. Nu weer een SE versie, waarbij alles nog onduidelijk is en het hele gezeik weer opnieuw begint.

Lijkt wel of alles na een tijdje weer opnieuw begint en het verleden één grote waas voor ze is...
Als ze nou eens boodschappen voor zichzelf op hun lichaam tatoeeren zodat ze niets vergeten. Hier alvast een paar:
2.35:1, DTS, NL subs, chronologie-easteregg, leuke normaal toegankelijke extra's...

Doordat het een nogal complexe film schijnt te zijn lijkt me dit toch iets prettiger.

Het complexe van de film zit niet in de dialoog, maar meer in het feit dat je de film van achter naar voor kijkt. Je moet dus steeds goed onthouden waarmee de vorige scene begon, want daar eindigt de volgende scene mee...confused...? Maar dialogen zijn niet zo ingewikkeld, believe you me...
Vaak zijn films perfect te volgen met de UK subs aan. Lezen+horen is vaak net dat beetje wat je nodig hebt. Zo kijk ik ook vaak films op BBC, met subtitles van teletekst (Ceefax 888).

The MEMENTO limited-edition DVD features the most extensive, full-length director’s commentary since the film’s theatrical release. The second disc offers a wealth of special features that includes the 23-minute documentary "Anatomy of a Scene." Originally shown on The Sundance Channel, it breaks down a single scene from script to design to photography to its final screen version. Also included on the limited-edition DVD is the original short story by Jonathan Nolan, as well as a a "director’s script" that allows viewers to dissect the film’s unique structure by switching between a scene and Nolan’s annotated film script by using a DVD player’s angle-change feature.
