[spoiler:cf7f6be638]There were several "talking head" moments of Peter describing how much more in depth the behind the scenes coverage would be and there were some wonderful examples of an unfleshed Kong skeleton walking about that then was also seens with the dynamic muscle sheath added on top, which made for the somewhat disconcerting sight of a skinned ape cavorting about.
When the narrator intoned, "and more Kong," there was a shot of him elbowing one of the stacked rock mausoleums after he's broken throught he wall (I tried hard to spot and SKIIPS that might be about, but am unsure whether there were any, or not), as well as a shot of Kong chasing after the crew as they've just crossed the extremely skinny bamboo "rope bridge" seen previously in the montage that takes them from the beach to the wall.
When the narrator announce, "more effects shots," there was a rough CG version of Kong leaping from a neighboring building onto the lowest setback of the Empire State Building, and -- rather strikingly, to my mind -- there was the wonderfully expressive close-up shot of Kong holding up his forearm to fend of the fire coming from the attacking fighters atop the Empire State, but instead of the simple "dust puffs" that signified where he was being struck by projectiles in the theatrical cut, the bullet hits now produce fairly explicit, bloody wounds. -- This would lead me to believe that the final stand will now regain the appropriately graphic element that was deleted for the theatrical cut and Kong will unmistakeably bleed when he's shot.
There was also a quick excerpt of a bloopers gag reel, with Jack Black falling on his butt during shooting on the Venture and some other blown lines moments, etc.
As mentioned in my prior post, the preview seemed to identify the Anne screaming for her life on the beach while Denham is filming that was featured in the original teaser trailer as a "deleted" scene and note one that has been reintegrated into the film. Same with the dance/party scene on the Venture deck, which had a couple of quick shots of a very lovely looking Naomi Watts among the rough and tumble seamen and Bruce Baxter was participating as well, as I recall.
On another note, I think that the raft attack sequence may have been tracked with music from elsewhere in the film, including the hazardous arrival at Skull Island cue, though I'm not entirely sure, as in the excitmement of watching, I was not focused very much on the aural portion of the clip being shown...[/spoiler:cf7f6be638]

Here's a look at the DVD cover artwork for the King Kong: Deluxe Extended Edition and also the new figurine that will be found in the Gift Set...
