Lionsgate has provided us with the first poster for Saw IV, arriving in theatres on October 26th, 2007.

The fourth movie in the horror-film franchise is directed by Darren Lynn Bousman and stars Tobin Bell, Angus Macfadyen, Shawnee Smith, Lyriq Bent, Scott Patterson and Justin Louis.

Jigsaw still haunts the living in Saw IV, forcing them to appreciate life, or face death. As a continuation of Saw III, Jeff must find his daughter and escape the building to which they are confined before they both die. After finding another tape of Jigsaw, Jeff realizes there may be a newly added piece of the puzzle that he must decipher before it's too late.

Geen mooie poster nee, maar kijk toch nog steeds uit naar deze film. Saw is best een leuke franchise die van mij nog wel een tijdje mag verderlopen

Deel 1 was geweldig. Deel 2 vond ik nog steeds erg goed.
Laatst deel 3 gezien en wat mij betreft is de koek nu echt op. Zeer teleurstellend, ben benieuwd of ze hier nog wat van kunnen maken.

Bousman and Bell on Saw IV!

Rumors are spreading online about the plot for Lionsgate's anticipated Saw IV, but director Darren Lynn Bousman set the record straight when talking with ShockTillYouDrop.com on Tuesday night.

"Nobody knows what this is about," Bousman said. "Every plot synopsis you've read online is false and untrue. The thing with Macfadyen looking for his daughter? Believe it if you want. But no one knows what this story is."

When questioned whether this film will be more violent than the previous three, the helmer added, "I'm going to be very curious about what the MPAA says about the first 20 minutes of this film. There's something there that is incredibly violent."

Tobin Bell also talked to us about the return of Jigsaw. "You find out why I'm back in the very first scene. Why I'm back and why I'm around." And why should audiences come back for another movie? Because of "a tremendous ending," added Bell.

Deel 1 is prima, deel 2 meer van het zelfde maar net iets minder en deel 3 was weer prima, deel 4 weer meer van het zelfde? Denk het wel, nou goed laat maar komen

Voor mij is de koek eraf wat de Saw-films betreft...deel 1 was subliem, vooral het einde, maar vanaf deel 2 is het steeds verder bergaf gegaan naar mijn mening...ik pas voor Saw 4.
