Universal Studios have announced the R1 DVD release of new 2-Disc Special Editions of Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho, Rear Window and Vertigo on 7th October, priced at $26.98 each

These two-disc sets are released under the Universal Legacy Series banner. The same collection as Double Indemnity, The Deer Hunter, To Kill a Mockingbird, Dracula, Frankenstein, The Sting.

Wauw die covers van Psycho en Rear Window zijn prachtig, Vertigo iets minder. Is er al iets over blu-ray bekend?

Ik vind ze allemaal geweldig, een stuk beter dan de saaie covers waar de meeste studio's tegenwoordig mee komen. Volgens mij is er nog niets over BR bekend, het zou wel voor mij nog een reden betekenen om eind dit jaar aan een overstap te gaan denken.

Helaas verschillen deze releases volgens mij niet erg veel van de Masterpiece Collection releases, dus deze laat ik denk ik maar aan me voorbijgaan.
