En er staat nog een film in de planning voor Apatow en Rogen. Vooral Rogen gaat het erg druk krijgen komend jaar. Overigens is de cast er weer één om je vingers bij af te likken...

Hill and Schwartzman join stand-up film
Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Leslie Mann and Eric Bana are already aboard Judd Apatow's upcoming Funny People, but they've now been joined by Jason Schwartzman and Jonah Hill. That means that this film's levels of comedy talent are approaching critical mass, so that they'll either spend the entire shoot cracking each other up or sitting morosely in silence, saving their funny for the camera.
Little is known about the plot so far, except that it's set in the world of stand-up comedy and is about a comedian who has a near-death experience. The original four stars have all worked as stand-up comedians at one time or another; we're not sure about these latest two, but they're pretty funny so it hardly matters.
Shooting starts in September, and we'll be keeping an eye out in case of further funny casting between now and then.Judd Apatow Finds Funny People
June 12, 2008
Variety says that Judd Apatow has added Jason Schwartzman and Jonah Hill have joined the previously-announced Adam Sandler, Seth Rogen, Leslie Mann and Eric Bana in Funny People, which will be co-financed by Universal Pictures and Columbia Pictures, with Universal distributing on July 31, 2009.
The filmmaker, who last wrote and directed Knocked Up, was deliberately vague about subject matter, allowing only that the movie takes place in the world of standup comedy and the focus is on a comedian who has a near-death experience.
The film is a co-production of Apatow Productions and Happy Madison, and Apatow is producing with Clayton Townsend and Barry Mendel. Jack Giarraputo, Rogen and Evan Goldberg are executive producers.
Production begins in mid-September in Los Angeles.
