Echt zo'n tussendoor film. Leuk voor één keer. Carice van Houten kwam ook behoorlijk geforceerd over.

Extra's stellen al niet bijster veel voor en zelfs in SD kwaliteit. De regio vrije Amerikaase versie heeft iets meer extra's aanboord.

• U-Control Features: Two tracks are available. A "Picture-in-Picture Experience" features a somewhat sparse collection of admittedly informative, unexpectedly thoughtful interviews with key members of the cast and crew, while an "Artiforg Tech Specs" mode provides brief descriptions of the artificial organs and prosthetics that appear throughout the film. (Note a PiP track is only available for the theatrical cut.)
• Filmmakers Audio Commentary: While director Miguel Sapochnik and writers Eric Garcia & Garrett Lerner are all laughs at the beginning of the track, they quickly focus their attentions and deliver a fairly extensive commentary. Topics of discussion? Casting, soundtrack selections, the script itself, the actors' contributions to the story, the flick's production design, costumes, visual effects, the development and creation of the future Remy inhabits. Their chat remains brisk and breezy, and stretches of silence are rarely an issue.
• Deleted Scenes (SD, 9 minutes): There are five deleted and extended scenes in all, each with optional commentary with Sapochnik, Garcia and Lerner.
• The Union Commercials (SD, 4 minutes): Seven "Union" commercials are on tap as well. "Thanks to the Union," "Didn't Have to Happen," "Super Dry," "Wife to U," "Jack Soda Party," "Jack Soda Toy," and "Mattress."
• Inside the Visual Effects (HD, 6 minutes): A succinct raw-footage-to-final-shot montage with Sapochnik, Garcia and Lerner commentary.
