It has recently come to our attention that certain batches of Warner Brothers' Inception DVD have serious visual issues. The discs, which can be identified by the batch code 'SE-SP-08', present obvious signs of aliasing and poor compression, as evidenced by the screen captures accompanying this piece. Warner Brothers has already instigated a replacement programme for affected customers, as detailed on their http://www.warnerbros.co.uk/. If you think you have one of the faulty discs you should send an email to wbcustomerservices@technicolor.com, who will then arrange for a replacement disc to be sent free of charge. The issue also affects DVDs included with the Blu-ray Triple Play edition. It's worth pointing out that the visual problems look much worse in motion than they do in these still images.
