Een nieuw jaar, een nieuwe editie.

Post een lijst met daarin maximaal 50 titels van films die volgens jou de besten ooit gemaakt zijn. De films ontvangen, afhankelijk van de plek waar ze staan hun punten:

1e - 50 pt.
2e - 49 pt.
3e - 48 pt
enz
48e - 3 pt.
49e - 2 pt.
50e - 1 pt.


Om het voor mij wat makkelijk te maken zou ik jullie willen verzoeken zoveel mogelijk de Engelse taal aan te houden wanneer een film onder meerdere noemers bekend staat

Kom je niet aan de 50, geen probleem. Lever je lijstje in zover als je komt maar wel met een maximum van 50 titels. Heb je er meer dan zul je keuzes moeten maken

Wees vrij om je lijstje te pas en te onpas aan te passen.

Wanneer het stilvalt zal ik alles optellen en is de dvd.nl top 100 aller tijden editie 2014 een feit.

NOG IN ONTWIKKELING


Een top 20 is natuurlijk véél te weinig; hierbij het verzoek om volgend jaar een top-50 te organiseren (nog te weinig, maar goed). Ik meld mij vrijwillig aan om Dan hierbij te ondersteunen mocht het nodig zijn....

Een paar criteria voor mijzelf om het nog enigszins quasi-serieus te doen:
- Alle films van minder dan 5 jaar oud (na 2008) vallen af, die moeten zich nog bewijzen over langere tijd.
- Daarnaast neem ik alleen films die ik minimaal 3x gezien heb, zodat ze zich ook bij meerdere kijkbeurten bewezen hebben.
- Maximaal 1 film van een regisseur, dat betekent bijvoorbeeld dat omdat It's a Wonderful Life meegenomen is, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington die ook een 10 scoort niet meegenomen kan worden.
Recente films zoals The Tree of Life, Cloud Atlas en Watchmen vallen dus op voorhand al af. Maar ook oudere films die ik maar 1 of 2 keer gezien heb, zoals Double Indemnity, Anatomy of a Murder enz.

Nog een paar weetjes:
Mijn top 3 staat redelijk vast, alles daaronder is afhankelijk is mijn bui . Als ik over een maand weer een top 20 zou maken, dan zouden er zomaar 12 anderen kunnen staan.
Op plaats 20 staat de eerste film waarvan ik nog weet dat ik die als klein kind heb gekeken. Nog steeds een ontroerende film trouwens.
Hoewel ik Star Wars V hoger beoordeel, heb ik gekozen voor de eerste bioscoopfilm in mijn herinnering: Star Wars IV.
Ik wilde alleen 1 musical en 1 martial arts film opnemen in mijn lijst……..in plaats van deze had ik ook bijvoorbeeld My Fair Lady en Drunken Master kunnen opnemen, of andere.

Misschien voor volgend jaar Dan? Er zijn al redelijk wat mensen die een lijstje gemaakt hebben. Het zou mooi zijn als het nog lukt, maar het zou ook vervelend zijn voor degene die 'm vlot ingeleverd hebben als het niet lukt. En ik wil niet de boosdoener zijn .

Deze verkiezing heeft geen haast hoor. Vind het zelfs wel een goed idee van je. Met zoveel titels krijg je toch een beter beeld van het geheel. We nemen gewoon rustig de tijd zodat mensen hun lijstjes rustig kunnen aanpassen. Wel vind ik persoonlijk dat we alle films een kans moeten geven om in de lijst te komen. Of in ieder geval een maximum van een jaar. 5 jaar vind ik wel erg lang eigenlijk...

Er zijn 3 Star Trek films die bij mij een 10 scoren: Wrath of Khan, Search for Spock en Star Trek (2009). Ik wilde een meer afwisselende lijst maken en heb dus maar 1 Star Trek film in de lijst gezet, maar dat had net zo goed één van de andere twee kunnen zijn .

Ik ga mijn top 20 ook aanpassen dan

De mensen die hun top 20 niet aanpassen kun je gewoon dezelfde puntentelling geven. Stel dat je bij een top 50 de nummer een 50 punten geeft, de nummer twee 49, etc., doe je dat bij de top 20 gewoon net zo. Alleen is dan de laagste score 31 i.p.v. 1

Mijn top 20 ook aangepast naar een top 50. Maar het blijft zo moeilijk om een lijstje te maken . Terwijl ik 50 titels aan het noteren was dacht ik alweer aan 50 anderen die er ook wel in konden staan .
