Director Rian Johnson takes fans on an intimate journey into the creation of Star Wars: The Last Jedi in a feature-length documentary, explaining his unique interpretation of the Force, detailing the painstaking process of creating Snoke, and deconstructing action-packed scenes from the film such as the epic space battle and the final confrontation. Johnson also reveals two exclusive scenes, featuring Andy Serkis as Snoke prior to his digital makeover, as well as 14 never-before-seen deleted scenes, in addition to his audio commentary.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is packaged several ways to ensure fans get the most out of their in-home viewing experience. The Multiscreen Edition (formerly the Blu-ray Combo Pack) includes Blu-ray, and a Digital copy, giving viewers the flexibility to watch the film on different devices. Wat is het toch enorm triest dat Disney Nederland overslaat op UHD gebied, de eerste Disney met Dolby Vision en Dolby Atmos en die moeten we weer ophalen in het buitenland.....

Wel goed nieuws: de UK 3D blu-ray heeft zowel voor de 3D als de 2D Nederlandse subs!
Prijs in de UK is wel wat vriendelijker dan hier in Nederland.....

Er verschijnen 2 uitgaves in Nederland: een 2D-uitgave en een 3D-uitgave in een steelbookverpakking. Zo te zien heeft alleen de 3D-uitgave de bonus disc met de extra's.

Dan heb ik liever de UK versie, zit ook de bonus disc bij, Nederlandse subs (3D en 2D), geen steelbook en een mooiere hoes met sleeve (dat is natuurlijk mijn smaak).

Ik ga voor de 4K versie. Is al een hele tijd besteld op Amazon. Zin om deze nog eens te zien. Eerste kijkbeurt kwam ik toch met gemengde gevoelens uit de bioscoop. Misschien dat een twee kijkbeurt mijn mening zal veranderen.

Nog altijd logischer dan de poster/hoezen met BB-9E (paar seconden in beeld) en Phasma (slechtste SW personage ooit (en tevens -gelukkig- een rol van niks)

Dan heb ik liever de UK versie, zit ook de bonus disc bij, Nederlandse subs (3D en 2D), geen steelbook en een mooiere hoes met sleeve (dat is natuurlijk mijn smaak).

En je vergeet natuurlijk ook de franse teksten en niet te vergeten ook niet die vlaggetjes & groene balkjes op de nl uitgave, wat het voor mij ook verkloot.
Ik had de UK Steelbook ge-preordered, maar deze heb ik inmiddels geannuleerd, en ik heb besloten om voor de gewone 3D/2D versie met sleeve te gaan, welke ik idd veel mooier vind.

Ah, ik keek enkel bij amazon. Zavvi neem ik niet meer serieus tegenwoordig. Vijf van de laatste vijf post pakketjes zijn nooit aangekomen, dus bestel daar niks meer.

Ik denk nog steeds van niet. Als Disney niet van plan is om UHD op de Nederlandse markt te brengen, dan zullen ze ook die moeite niet doen, schat ik in.

Bij Disney BeneLux blijft het lastig, want de NL markt en consument is niet belangrijk of interessant genoeg.
Daarnaast word Disney uit Frankrijk gerund en die hebben helemaal niets met Nederlanders...

Toch zijn er voorbeelden uit het verleden dat er Dvd's en BD's in andere landen zijn verschenen met NL subs en nooit uitgebracht in NL.

2 VB van BD's.
De BD Miracle 2004 heeft NL subs, maar is nooit uitgebracht in NL.
De BD van THe Rock 1996 was al jaren uit in Frankrijk en is alleen in NL kort verkrijgbaar geweest na verzoeken/aandringen van de consument.

Maar gezien het huidige beleid van Disney verwacht ik geen 4K op fysiek product in NL

De tijd dat ik de reviews van blu-ray.com geloofde, ligt wel achter mij. Je kunt beter op de forums kijken naar de algemene tendens.

Overigens is het nu weer onduidelijk of de UK versie wel Dolby Vision zal hebben, op de hoes kun je niets zien, maar is dit wel de uiteindelijke hoes? Vervelend weer, die onzekerheid. Ik heb mijn bestelling even ongedaan gemaakt tot er meer duidelijk is.
