Warner Home Video have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Blood Diamond for 20th March 2007. Amid the explosive civil war overtaking 1999 Sierra Leone, an ex-mercenary turned smuggler (Leonard DiCaprio) and a Mende fisherman (Djimon Hounsou) join for two desperate missions: recovering a rare pink diamond of immense value and rescuing the fisherman's son, conscripted as a child soldier into the brutal rebel forces ripping a swath of torture and bloodshed across the alternately beautiful and ravaged countryside.
Director Edward Zwick’s latest is available in separate Single-Disc Widescreen and Full Screen editions ($28.98 SRP) or as a Two-Disc Widescreen Special Edition ($34.99 SRP). The film is presented with English, French and Spanish audio (DD5.1 Surround) and subtitle options along with a Director’s Commentary.
Additional extras on the Two-Disc Special Edition include:

Heb de film al gezien en moet zeggen dat ik hem erg goed vond. Zelfs Leo :wink:
Weet nog niet voor welke regio ik ga, maar de dvd komt er zeker!28 days... 6 hours... 42 minutes... 12 seconds. That... is when the world... will end.

)
heb hem nog niet gezien, maar hoor (zowel hier als van vrienden) dat het een erg goeie film is.. ben benieuwd

Vind de 1 disc cover mooier. Die tweede heeft wel heel groot 5 ACADEMY AWA... etc als opdruk.Verpest de mooie artwork een beetje. Prima film. Ga hem zeker kopen.
