Logitech Announces Harmony IR Extender System By Rachel Cericola Logitech just made remote control a lot easier. What's easier than sitting on your couch and pointing at your device in need, you ask? Well, the Logitech Harmony IR Extender System allows you to point at devices that aren't all that easy to get to. See, the system is designed to control those devices that may be hidden inside cabinets or other areas that aren't out in the open. Even better, the company says that the system should work with most infrared remotes, so no upgrade is necessary. It also doesn't require any programming, so you should be up, running and hiding A/V equipment in no time. The set up is just a few steps. First place the IR receiver in a visible spot. Then connect it to the IR blasters and mini blasters. Place those blasters near the equipment that you want to control and you'll be good to go.
