20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has announced a long-overdue Romancing the ston:Special Edition for release on august 29th.The blockbuster comedy adventure,starring Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner,arrives with a brand new 2.35:1 anamorphic transfer and a Dolby Digitla 5.1 track.Bonus materials will include eight deleted scenes (''Jack T.Colton,'' ''By the river,,''Keep qieut,'' ''Treasure map,'' ''Campfire on a Cargo Plane,'' ''Romancing the stone,'' Alligator'' and ''The book signing,'') and the retrospective featurettes ''Rekindling the Romance:A look back,'' ''A hidden treasure: The screenwriter'' and Michael Douglas remembers,'' Also due the 29th is the lackluster follow-up Jewel Of The Nile. This new edition also has a new anamorphic transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1.
